Timeline
All dates listed are Modri Reckoning (MR). To find the equivilant year in Imperial Reckoning (IR), add 600 years (i.e. the invasion of the Empire began in 801MR, or 1401 on the Imperial Calendar). Some of he dates presented here or explainations of events are often disputed by sages. Quindia has experienced much turmoil in it's short history and records are too often lost, destroyed, or falsified. Seek copies of Hundle Morrow's History of Quindia or Penate Tesler's Events of the Second Age for further details, but more information may be found among the individual entries in the Where and Who chapters.

476... Enmas conquered by Actaulis.
490... War between Actaulis and Bronet (490-537). The war ends with Actualis forced to sue for peace. The kingdom lost the lands around Charn. The king of Bronet granted the land to Baron Garned, one of his nobles, to rule in his name. Baron Garned was a believer in the old Modri ways and held to their old religion. Garned's persecution of the Church of Law led to the Jihad of Marsus only two years after, led by a young noble named Quool...

705... Crowan is renamed Crowyn and serves as the capital of the new Galacian Empire.
720... Enmas is renamed Enmilis.
722... The twin cities of Gydia and Spina are founded by the Galacians. They were dubbed the twin cities because they were built following the same street design.
725... First incursions by the Skorhean. They attack the settlements of the west, but are replulsed by the Galacian Legions (725-728). The heaviest fighting was around Crowyn, with the city holding off a six-month siege in 728 that broke the will of the invaders.
730... The Galacians launch attacks on the remaining holds of Actaulis, the Thoecracy of Quool, and Bronet.
732... Modria invades the lands of the Midga, but the war is cut short by the attack of the Galacians from the south (732-736). They are forced to withdraw their forces to counter the attackers.
734... Gorna falls to the Galacians and is renamed Gornath.
735... Quool falls to the Galacians.
736... The Galacian troops finally meet their match in the north. Their invasion of Modria ends in failure. The war lasts 24 years before the Imperial Govenor decides the cost is not worth it (736-760).
742... Bronet is conquered, but only when the full might of the reserve Imperial Legions are thrown into the theater. It is this stubborn defense that perhaps saved the Kingdom of Modria. It is also in this year that the settlement of Ansallen is founded by the Galacians.
744... The Galacians encounter similar frustrations against the Midga. Settlements are built along the river on the northern border of Bronet, but those settlements are under constant attack.
834... Galacian commanders take advantage of political troubles in the Shining Empire and revolt, declaring independance from the Empire. Their holdings begin to fracture as various warlords declare themselves kings. The chaos which ensues sees the founding of Beelzia, Sazir, Neltol, Goland, and Tancara, as well revolts in Bronet and Quool which restore rulers from their own nobility. For the next 54 years, the south is embroiled in war.
835... The Decade War between Bronet and Quool (835-845) - disputes over territories
839... The ex-imperial commander who seized Scarshend was weak and was assassinated by agents of an unknown power that turns out to be the Witchking. The mageguild again assumes control of the government of Beelzia.

905... The birth of the Inquisition in Westmarch. The Imperial Governor was a thoroughly evil man and deemed sorcerers to be a threat to the security of the Empire. Wizardry, being a formal institution, was susceptible to infiltration and control. The clergy were also easy to keep in underfoot. Sorcery seemed to bud randomly and grant magical power to peasants and the like. The Governer established the Inquisition to hunt them down - and get rid of other enemies in the path of his own ambition.
910... The Darkling War (910-912). An army of humanoids decends on Modria from the Jungles of Omeer and the surrounding mountains. Giants and Trolls sweeps across the Troll Lands into Bronet and Quool. A band of heroes undertakes a quest for a legendary sword to slay the demon, known only as The Darkling, who leads the armies. Their quest is a success and the Darkling is slain by Ram the Paladin. With The Darkling gone, his armies disolve and although they wrought much damage, the realm is saved.
912... The construction of Ram's Wall begins. It is meant as a protection against further attacks by the Trolls and Giants that haunt the lands to the east. The project goes well for six years until the outbreak of civil war in Bronet...
914... Bronet establishes the underground settlement of New Haven on the east shore of the Opporn Sea. Gornath was outraged as they claimed the territory as part of their Empire.

920... Marrige between the King of Goland and the Queen of Tancara. The nations become one and retain the name of the King's realm: Goland. This year also marks the end of the Kingdom of Midgron as the last of their settlements are over run by the Midga.
921... The events involving Strom Coldsteel, Ghul D'Khat, and Carmon Diablo. In the south the Zombie Plague runs rampant.
922... Westmarch declares independance from Gornath. The Imperial Governor is exiled, along with his Inquisition. The Regent of Gornath sends an army to retake the wayward province, but a single battle decimates the invaders and Gornath is forced to sue for peace and sign a treaty which recognizes the freedom of Westmarch. Jerrod Mace, the merchant lord who led the rebellion, is declared King.
924... Exiled Wild Elves arrive in Frodo seeking sanctuary from war in their lands.
930... The present.
